Absolutely stunning painting, and I love your framing choice as well. I agree with Mark Millar's assessment of Greg's work, and yet it amazes me that he still seems to fly under the radar. Is it possible that Greg Tocchini is the best kept secret in modern comics...?

It was on display in conjunction with a fashion show (and all of these pieces feature the designer's clothes designs). This is a picture from the event.
In all seriousness, as much as difficult as it was to part with this one, I'm much happier knowing it has ended up in such a good home. This cover will always hold a special place in my heart, and how it has a special place on your wall! :-)

Excellent taste. It's nice to see that SiP is getting good again, too. Is it me, or was there a two year stretch where everything was just "so-so"? The last five issues, though, have been quite good...and although it's sad that the series is coming to an end, hopefully it will go out with a bang.
I'm not a huge fan of Hellboy by people other than Mignola...and I've heard mixed reviews of Maleev in person...but this piece is SWEET!
