Wally Wood splash "The End" (EC) Owner: Steven biali001 Comment posted on 4/30/2014 A great example of Woody using his own rule than people in panels would always be looking at what concerns them in the story and never the reader. I doubt any other artist at the time would have produced a page like this, im truely jealous ;) |

The Ghost Rider #5 cover art by Frank Frazetta (MAY 1951) Owner: Bob Kane Comment posted on 3/18/2014 I have to admit I love these early Frazetta Western covers probably for all the wrong reasons. Yes they are stunning to behold but even more interesting is the slightly wrong movement and proportions, almost as if two different artists were battling over pencil and inking styles. Such rawness and power delivered in near perfect finishing, probably why I think they teach us so much more about his development as an artist than the Famous Funny covers. |

Candy and the Catchman Future Shock - John Ridgeway and Grant Morrison 2000ad Owner: Julius Howe Comment posted on 11/6/2013 I know John's art has never been a huge fan favorite, but I don't think ive ever seen any art other than maybe Bessette/Totleben that can set a scene of pure horror so easily.
