It's wonderful. There's still that thrill in me when I see Byrne draw these commisioedn pieces, especially when they're mixed with off the wall characters you wouldn't expect, like the Composite Superman. Makes me wonder what his Cyborg-Superman might be like!
It's an amazing piece to look at and especially own, I'd love to have it, as seen here the level of detail and use of dynamic angles & perspectives Byrne was using is still stunning to look at to this day. I think he directly and indirectly influenced so much of todays hotshot artists with this type of imaginitive work it's a debt barely acknowledged... he was years ahead of his time.
Love this piece, very detailed and as a big Megatron/Galvatron fan back in the day definitly one i'd like myself! Nice Catch.
