As far as addictions go, this is a healthy one to have. Honored to welcome you into the Hembeck world. I look forward to watching your collection come together.
Holy moley! Plop?! This is a vintage piece of Sergio history and I'm amazed he still had a page from it! Glad you were able to get a page that was so important to you and hits those sentimental buttons. The fact that the master is still so vibrant at 88, more than 50 years after this was drawn, is really remarkable. Congrats on getting such a great page (with Cain, Abel, and Eve!!) and that he signed it to you.

Fantastic page, Chris, made all the more poignant after the shocking passing of Marjane at 56. An important piece of comic history and world history, it humanizes the famlies of Iranians and the casual nature of their conversation about torture is all the more chilling when contrasted with her striking artwork. A treasure indeed.
Kavi, you're spot on! We're all still 15 year-old kids in the 80s going "spew! krak! kblong!" with our Hembeck cards, I'm not the only one, right?!"
This is epic! I got one from these gents right around the same time, maybe even the same CAF show? Remarkable.
