I would say 'publisher's loss', except for the fact that whatever you re-submitted was just as good if not better anyway. Great dynamic piece - thank you for sharing it!
I totally love the idea behind this piece - as a grown up kid, I remember asembling costumes out of the same household materials - didn't matter that it was cheesy or fell apart within hours (or minutes). It felt great to 'feel' like a superhero even for a little while. Thanks for sharing Patrick!
Beautiful piece - dynamic w/ lots of power -thanks for displaying here!
Like your Hobbit piece, OMG... Details, likenesses, sense of space, all make these works excellent! Again, thank you for sharing!!!
O M G!!! Phenomenal work! Thank you for sharing this -huge fan of Tolkein!
Thismis an awesome painting - takes me back to '77 waiting in line for one of the greatest movies of all time - I was just 11yrs old. Great piece!

Thank you, Chad, for your kind remark-it is appreciated. Fell free to visit my facebook page at HandinHandArtworks for more examples of my work, but be patient as I am continuing to update. Again, thanks.
AP is for the artist's initials for sure. The 8 refers to August of 2003, apparently. Thats all I got from it. Good luck!
Very, very, very cool! Is it available anywhere?
This one is SOOOO cool! Thanks for sharing this! May I 'borrow' this to ink?
Thank you for showing your work on CAF - I think you are one of the best artists I've seen and am somewhat envious. Will you be at SDCC this year? I'd be honored if you checked out my work at the art show in the sail pavilion upstairs.
This is one of the best pieces I've seen from you! Excellent! Love your work!
Just left a comment on your United Front piece - This is also just mind blowing - awesome job!!
Chris! Your stuff is really nice! Your not gonna need me anymore :( Keep up the good work, man!
Extremely nice ink work and on a legend's pencils, too! Really good stuff!
Sara - I'm sorry to say I only just discovered you. Your work is so breathtaking and enchanting-I just love the whimsical use of line, yet it conveys so much detail and power. I love your stuff, all of it! (I only used this piece 'cause I had to pick something - this one is great!).
This is w/out a doubt the best (if only) caricature of Julie Newmar I have ever seen! Great piece!
This is a great rendering! It has an old school Bob Kane feel to it. Excellant!
Unless this just has a generic title for a guy laughing, then I'd have to say this is the most interesting portrait of The Joker That I've ever seen. I love the exagerated jawline and teeth -creepy!
Hey- love the sense of form through your use of shade/shadow - brings the piece to tangible life!
I agree this is a strong piece. I love the organic fluidity of form and line. I can feel the raw power and tension! I hope to do as little harm to it as possible as I try to do my own inks over it. BTW - thank you once again for all your kind words regarding my inking.
