I know he ran Journey by William Misner-Loebs as early as issue 48 in May of 1983. I really should go through and tag the issues that have the back up stories by other artists. Dave Sim has a long history of supporting independent creators that he continues to this day. He has spotlighted a few recently that I have enjoyed.
Thank you for that information. He colored a First Fifth set for me a few years back.
Thank you. My understanding is Gerhard is retired now.
If I got a chance from Dave Sim or Gerhard, I would keep this original, if they would work on a copy of it.
It is the tug I work on. I asked Budd which of the two guys waving on deck was me and he said, "the sexy one".
I have never seen this. Being a R.E.H. fan as well, this is awesome!
Saw this and thought of Meriem getting a spanking by the Monster. Spanking "Good".
This was the first Swamp Thing I picked up as a 9 year old kid. Stopped by the local pharmacy on our way to visit the Grandparents and saw this on the shelf. Needless to say, I was blow away. Enjoy your treasure!
Congratulations! Love Budd's take on the Creature. Not to mention the lovely ladies.
I almost tagged this one Bonus Budd, so you calling it a nice bonus made me laugh. Thanks.
Very nice piece. I think Batman planned it that way. Thanks for letting me see it at the con. Congratulations.
Very cool. Congratulations.
That is a great depiction of Julie Newmar as Catwoman. Love the Adam West cape and cowl. Congratulations!
I saw Budd working on this at the NC COMIC CON. He asked, with a sly, knowing grin, "Does she look like Julie Newmar"? Congratulations.
Thank you. I am very pleased with it. Looks like he's thinking evil, Hydra thoughts.
I check out the Hulk vs Wolverine and really dig it, then I see this and was blown away. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing this completed.
This piece is amazing. Congratulations and thanks so much for sharing.
That is an incredible piece Budd. You are working on an entirely different creative level. Keep the good stuff coming!
I did a double-take and stared at a dino crapping. LOL. Good times there Budd.
Budd was a lot of fun to talk to as we had similar interests and I am looking forward to seeing what he does with a commision we discussed.
