Interesting that this was drawn on Dec 4, 1986, but not finished or published until July 1990. Gambit is far more popular than ever, must suck to hate a character for no reason and continuing to show yourself as a miserable troll.

The way Gambit is drawn here reminds me of Lee Weeks from his first miniseries in 1993.
This stylized version of the Punisher would make a great tall tale comic book of him, narroated by those who embellish to make them seem more than what they really are. "Seven feet tall he was, with arms like tree trunks and his eyes were like steel, cold, hard. Had a shock of hair, red like the fires of Hell."

Yes, Gambit is still a very popular character, he's lived up to the hype, and I see that everywhere I go from fanart, message boards, voting polls, Youtube comments and so on. The past few years hasn't been good for him because of these talentless hacks, but then again, I could say that for dozens of other characters.

I've always flet that the Punisher should be kept in the timeline of the 1970s, 80s, 90s and maybe the 2000s. His character just woks far better during those days.

The artwork is good, but that's not a very impressive Trophy Wall... it seems like they made sure to pick some of thy most lame forgotten characters in Marvel for the Punisher to beat and that whole WJ storyline was just awful.

I was 4 years old (1986) when I first saw An American Tail and for me, it's still the best animated film and one of Don Bluth's best films.
Very good... the crappy cartoon is pretty much non-canon, not important, hardly ever referenced and for good reason. The video game Dragon's Lair and Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp is the canon storyline since Time Warp had Dirk and Daphne not only married but with several children. And Don Bluth himself is working on an animated film which will take place before the video game.
