Thanks a lot for your positive feedback! You have a fantastic collection of British comic art featuring lots of iconic artists. I'd like to point you in the direction of my Simon Coleby pages. Cheers, Stefan
Masterpiece! Congratulation.
A fantastic page from a fantastic series done by a true master of the art. Thanks for sharing.
Dean does his Black Hammer pencils on a standard-sized board (e.g. 11x14 or 14x17 inches). He scans them and prints them as bluelines on a significantly larger board that he inks. Sometimes he does various inked versions over the same bluelines.
Wow! Dean Ormston does an absolutely fantastic job on Black Hammer! Congrats on a superb piece of art!
Fantastic artwork! Absolutely love this page!
Hell, yeah! But then ... it's a wonderful cover and it's such a perfect addition to Atalia Jaegirs first appearance (http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1183365) and the Prog 1878 cover by the fantastic Simon Coleby (http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1131923).
Agreed on that, Tommy! The pages are real beauties with the amount of details and the excellent ink wash.
What a splendid example of Guys artwork! Great page!
Thanks, Damon! But I had to rotate it 180 degrees ... think it's still cool?
Looks like somebody is a fan ;-) ... great pages of that fantastic story! Congrats!
Fantastic cover (and interior page)! Congrats on those beautiful, flawless Brian Hurtt pages.
So cool! I love Simons artwork (guess my collection kinda shows) and this ones FANTASTIC!
Thanks for your comment, Michael! One of the strips has a signature on the back ... gonna check on that and post an additional pic.
Well, "The Authority" is worth reading ... and Simons art on this cover is just terrific! Thanks for sharing!
That's a cool piece... and the original art is even cooler: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1146478
That is so EPIC! I love the work of Simon Coleby and it's about time he gets the credits for his fantastic work. Congrats on those great Royals pages.
Fantastic piece by the fantastic Mr. Templesmith! Congrats!
A great cover! I really love the composition and flow of this. Great catch, Jens!
Great page, Dude! And imho it looks much better in b/w than coloured!
Well, at least it doesn't smell that way ;-)
Yikes! Wormwood (riding a unicorn)with undead (?) vikings lurking in the back. THAT'S F...ING AWESOME! CONGRATS!
Danke für die Blumen ;-) ... und auch Dir ein Gutes Neues!!!
You did your first HB commission for me and you definitely nailed this one, Jamie! Great piece!
Amazingly detailed DPS, Jens! And a great Bradshaw cover you got here as well! CONGRATS!!!
I love those pages too ... but well, you know that already ;-)
Congrats my fellow collector ;-) A really great splashpage by Victor Santos! I love the Mice Templar!
Wink's the gentleman in the back. He's a character from the Hellboy 2 movie. According to the Hellboy Wiki ... "Mr. Wink is a Cave Troll who is a friend and henchman to Prince Nuada. His primary weapon is a mechanical fist, which is capable of being launched from his right arm tethered by a long chain, for attacking foes at a distance. It is reeled back into its mounting, often by crawling back to its owner. He has a metal armor plate that is so tough that even Red's punches can't break it. Mr Wink possesses substantial physical strength, capable of throwing human-sized opponents several dozen feet."
Congrats to that beautiful page, Jens! What's even better than being a page by Jim Lee is that it's an AUTHORITY page ;-)
Smallest Aquaman in an Aquaman splashpage ever ;-)
Thanks to you, Eurion! Sean's such a great guy and he went through some efforts for me, sorting out his splashpages ;-)
I too can't believe how GODDAMMITWTF lucky you are to own these pages! Grrrr... okay, I'm jealous now!
Just finished reading the amazing "Deluxe Book Issue 1". Congrats to such wonderful pages from that great series!
That's too kind of you, Jens! Given my speed of drawing that page you might want to find yourself a stasis chamber ;-)
One of the best "Kermit the Frog" commissions I have ever seen ;-)
Nice one by Matteo! He really captured the spirit of the original story!
HOLY CRAP! That's one truly fine page! Congrats!
Yup, my friend! Together with the beer paintings by Ben Templesmith that will (almost) provide for a nice evening ;-)
