Thanks, Ryan. I bought it not knowing who the artist was (therefore it was ridiculously inexpensive) but I did identify the book (but it did not identify the artist either). Thankfully, after breaking into the glued together pieces, I found he signed and dated the back.
You probably know that Rain immigrated from Ukraine when she was about 12 years old. After the recent Russin invasion, she saw a news story and the images of children amongst the ruins waiting for somewhere "safe" to go. Hence, "Special Military Operation" and maybe a bit of self-therapy and hope for those unable to escape the war.
Going to have to look Christine up. Really nice pencil work, and as I said there, great touches of color.
Love it. Very Blade Runner-isk; my favorite movie.
