You're right Terry, though I also never claimed it to be original pencils. As I said in the description and comment afterwards, this was a scan that DC sent me. My original inks are on vellum.
It was a privilege to work with him on this set- his first American comics work too! He was extremely excited and fun to work with, as well. One of my all time favorite artists!
Yep, it's over-size; the scan cut off a little bit of it. A friend of mine had it, and I had a Travis Charest piece that I was never going to let go of... But he persuaded me with Bernie, my all-time favorite artist.
Yeah, Dan did this one of me a while back, after a long night up in LA...:) Miss you man; hope all is well!
No problem; glad you like! Being a long time Rudy fan, it was great to be able to commission this work from him. He was great- even though he didn't know who the X-Men were at the time! Once I sent him reference, he cranked this beauty out.
Thanks Neil; glad you like the art I'm posting! I've been working in the industry for 20 years now, so have been very lucky to work with great people over that time. Add in the fact that I'm a fan as well, and it's been a great run, one that I hope to continue for many years!
Thanks! Yep, I'm a Mignola fan going back to Rocket Raccoon... He's the Man!
I didn't do my normal sig; I had to keep it simple like the penciller's sig on this one...
Um, yeah- I did William.:) I put my name on the credits even.:) Received this one as a scan from DC; that's why it was never clear who pencilled it (in addition to them telling me it was Garcia Lopez).
Lol! Thanks Fred; it's my only Pearson, so it's staying with me!:)
