That style and his eye are just great. A lot of fun but deceptively complex. The colors and layers... it takes so much skill to get to where he is and create something like this.

Every Adams X-men page I see makes me want to see more, and the fact that there are so few of them makes them even more special. This one, it's a gem. That panel layout, that kinetic storytelling pulling the reader through the page, it's a perfect example of the era, the artist, and what made him one of the most influential creators in the history of the medium.

This is a great page from a great sequence of pages from an absolutely top notch issue of The Goon. The artwork on the series had been gradually evolving and improving over its run, and then when it got to issue 13 EVERYTHING clicked. The ink wash technique, the pacing, the plotting, all of it. It was a real breakthrough issue and my favorite of his run.
Why would you claim to the seller to not have received this piece and then post it to your caf at the same time tracking shows it was delivered to you ? Pay the person who sold you this his money.

Great choice. Love the layout and design and the action is so well executed. It swirls around the center of the piece drawing your eye through the scene.
