That style and his eye are just great. A lot of fun but deceptively complex. The colors and layers... it takes so much skill to get to where he is and create something like this.  

This piece jumped out and grabbed me the first time I saw it. Just the perfect title page and so well executed. Nicely done. 

The more this image is cemented into the collective psych of comic fans across the world the better a decision this becomes. In a world of pretenders and exaggerators and fake influential statements...this piece has become iconic. 

Absolutley. A cover like this deserves to find its "forever home". Glad it landed with you. It's in great company. 

I know how hard it was for Paul Smith to part with this one. It's wonderful that you appreciate it. If there was ever the kind of piece that should be at  the center of a permanent family collection it's this kind of piece.

I love this art team on this splash. The pencils and inks sing in combination. So good.

Every Adams X-men page I see makes me want to see more, and the fact that there are so few of them makes them even more special. This one, it's a gem. That panel layout, that kinetic storytelling pulling the reader through the page, it's a perfect example of the era, the artist, and what made him one of the most influential creators in the history of the medium.

This has always been a favorite issue for me. And this is such a nice time period for Mignola. You can see and feel what's to come. Love it 

This is a great page from a great sequence of pages from an absolutely top notch issue of The Goon. The artwork on the series had been gradually evolving and improving over its run, and then when it got to issue 13 EVERYTHING clicked. The ink wash technique, the pacing, the plotting, all of it. It was a real breakthrough issue and my favorite of his run. 

Why would you claim to the seller to not have received this piece and then post it to your caf at the same time tracking shows it was delivered to you ?   Pay the person who sold you this his money. 

This was such a perfect moment for Golden and such a great story for him to work on.  Love every page but this one is really good. 

McManus' work on this title was so great and often overlooked unjustly. Love this one.

I had not heard of this story before but, thanks to your post and description I can see that I'm missing out.  These are gorgeous. The texture and inks are so deep and developed.

Look at those Fricken Colors!!  Bellamy was so influential on an entire generation (or two) of British artists and this page is a great example of why. It's pure 110 octane imagination jet fuel.
