ah, good to know - thanks! i knew he had it available for at least one con. on his blog he just mentioned the New Mexico one that's why i noted it. it's interesting the way he does his tmnt prints. he seems to piece them together with individual character drawings and fills in the background with a computer. the #21 Ottawa variant was done the same way.
thank you. you really should read this series, it's one of the best out there! i've been reading since issue #1 and have been enjoying the amazing journey since. the first 12 issues while very good, are a little slow mainly due to character build up and laying the foundation, but then things heat up and never stop. i'd seriously pick up the trades if i were you :)
beautiful score! i thought about getting this spread several times, but i just couldnt pull the trigger. if it was fully inked, i probably would have. that said, i understand Ross' method for leaving as penciles and it is pretty cool to see the ink/pencil combo.
nice additions Greg! I think we have similar tastes. I'm also a fan of good background/structural illustrations. They tell a lot about a story without the use of words. I had planned on picking up this page, but I forgot about getting back to it. oh well, ya snooze ya lose.
love Mike's work. this one is a really great piece. i commissioned him for a tmnt piece as well. i'll probably end up getting another one in the near future :)
this is the best "non sakai" rendition of usagi i've ever seen. very nice.
