The Punisher doesn't smoke, he's never been seen doing that and this is such an annoying cliche with these types of characters.

The definition of lame cliche gimmicks on trying to make a character look tough... might as well give him an eye-patch, scars, tattoos and give catchphrases and one-liners. New 52 Aquaman was one of very few characters that turned out well, by going back to classic Aquaman and letting his action make him tough, not his clothing or lack there of...
What the hell was Dan Abnett thinking with this by making Mera look like a generic female counterpart to Aquaman???? Ar least Rebirth got rid of it, comic book characters all need there own costume, not simply taking someone else's, even if that character is his or her's lover.

I wish people would actually read the comics than just assume that the Punisher is this typical tough guy with guns who smokes... because he doesn't (40 some years and not one single pic of that), for someone who has to keep his heath in top shape, it wouldn't make sense for him to do that.
That doesn't look like Frank, it looks like some traced over another character and tried, very poorly, to make it look like the Punisher... and failed since he doesn't wear that kind of armor or gear.
This bald beard look doesn't work with every character... it's such a cliche appearance...
