Mike Deodato was at NYCC years ago, when I had him sign the OA, interior page and cover. There was a woman sitting next to him and he says "She colored these black." and points to the sword. "Is she the inker?" I ask "eh, no... She's a good wife." Mike says. because he occasionally inks his own pencils. ....."Can she sign it too then?"
It was years ago and I couldn't remember. So I did some detective work and have calculated that it must have been Brad Walker.
I've only found Matt once in all the show I've been too. He was awesome and did quick sketches on the inside covers of the hardcovers. He had pre-done stuff inside other hardcover he had for sale but I've never gotten a real commission piece. Very Jealous. Grendel is one of my favorites.
Even as a small thumbnail picture is looks perfect. Which translates well to being on a wall, it's going to look good from anywhere in the room.
Alvin Lee is such a cool guy. I've got a Sabertooth by him and it is awesome.
Thanks, I'm almost done with my Inhumans collection. Dooney is also a pretty big fan of Medusa, so I made a good pick.
He was at Boston Comic Con 2010, nice guy. I've been collecting Nexus stuff and was totally willing to throw down the money for a sketch. Watching him do this was awesome, between the pose and the power/light source, it was fantastic.
