Thanks, Craig. One thing I didn't mention in the account was my asking Mr. Van Dyke to do an impression of Stan Laurel. Totally within his stride, and without pausing for breath, suddenly, Stan was talking to me. Incredible!

Thanks for your comments, Glen. No, I didn't know that Gene listened to music when creating. I wonder if the musical styles were changed to fit the art concept. In later correspondence he told me of a friend of his in a band in Texas (I think it was R & B).
