The perfect artist for the subject matter.  DC brought back Perez and Ordway from the original Crisis to give this sequel series the big event feel!  This is one of the main battles we wanted to see and Ordway's sequence brought the Earth-2 vibe!

This Spidey is abosulety perfect! A slim version of him from the Master! Congratulations

Genius work!  Anyone can paint red and blue, but it's the composition in storytelling, the angle where he looks, the break from homaging other Spidey artist's poses, and the life study style of anatomy that makes Dell'Otto's Spidey so compelling.

Awesome new art that fits right in with the seminal event of the 90's!  Guice has got the touch, even after all these years.

Buffed out Cyclops!  Can't call him slim anymore!  Larroca brings a heroic pose to Cyclops' forceful optic blast!

A great premise with the time travel angle that made it appeal to new and old readers who might have been skeptical about another relaunch issue 1.

Always loved this page. One of the more prominent X-men launches with Bendis and Stuart hitting a high peak artistically.

The huge image of Beast in a new mutation, plus that great shot of the OG X-men looking like real teenagers from the 60's, and some great Hank McCoy <> modern Beast panel work.

These were great issues and helped springboard Yu into the main title too!  Ed's inks make the dark panels quite a feat in design and execution t bring out the desperate look in our heroes.

A really great battle page, from an amazing issue. Love it!  Rogue and Bastion fight was epic.  

Classic image with the duality of Wolverine as the noble man and the darker shadowed berserker animal he fears one day will fully consume him.

Love Silvestri's current style ! Great example and agreed he is one of the definitive Wolverine artists .

Ever since he did those all pencil covers for Ultimate Spider-Man, the pencil option has been an intriguing look for fans to see what Bagley did before his inkers got a hold of them.  Its softer look with Spidey more pliable and expressive in the body language, which becomes important when the face is fully masked.

Frenz is a master of the character and man is it on full display here. The color really pops too. Wonderful piece!

Great Frank page. His Superman may be definitive but look how perfectly haughty Adam looks here.

With some of these facial expressions, you can tell Pacheco was dialed into their personalities with his art.  Look where he frames off the second panel and how a turn of the head in the fourth panel can be effective.   

Every panel is top tier. Big congrats!

Really great how Sale stripped away the art to only the essentials.  They last panel with just the silhouette and isolated without word baloons is a very fitting end to the main story of this last issue of the series.

Billed to be as important as the original Crisis about 20 years later, they got Phil Jimenez who was thought of as an artistic successor to George Perez.  While George and Jim Lee shared cover duties to lend it added gravitas, the Jimenez art more than delivered with the universe of characters drawn in a hyper detailed manner.  IC is definitely one of his career milestones.  This is a great page from the series as his association with Wonder Woman comics stretched before and after this period.
