i need to know more about this page. i have never seen a color Diego page so this smash grabs my curiostity. i loathe that lil devil character but the LD summoning from the puddle of blood is morbidly beautiful

This is page 24 of Malevolent Decimation #1. Unfortunately, the inking stage was skipped, and coloured by Ceci De La Cruz who, in my opinion, smothers Diego Bernard's style—which is really annoying! :) . The cover of this issue is also coloured by Ceci but has inks by Alisson Rodrigues, and as a result retains Diego's style.

I can only assume the inks are skipped on the interior pages to save money. Shame.

Wow. I'm sorry, Chris, that this one is not to your liking. I think it's really cool.

I mean, I'd certainly have to be honest and say that as I'm not an artist I can't speak fully to anatomy but I'm very much pleased with this one.

As long as you like it, Kevin, that's all that matters! It annoyed me, though. grrr ;)

After marveling over Ian's pencils, I was completely shocked by this; and not in a good way, I'm sorry to say. Either Alex had a VERY poor copy of the pencils or needs to learn to ink what's actually there instead of completely ignoring it. For example: I'm mystified as to why he ignored Ian's shading on (centre character) John Targitt's chest and torso, and replaced it with 4 horizontal lines; and as for Destructor's muscles... words fail me. Ian has studied anatomy, and Alex clearly has not! :/
