I started collecting in 1976, when I was 12, took a break for many years, and got back into it in 1992. I collected like a drowning sailor (see Muensterberger, Werner: Collecting -- An Unruly Passion) for a while, then realized there are these things called human beings, who, though they let you down occasionally, are more responsive than pieces of paper on the wall.

Nonetheless, those pieces of paper are awful darn cute sometimes.

The major acquisition part of my career has wound down, but I still like the art.
