Description

I had Mignola do this for me in NYC in June of 1991. It was at this show I asked him about doing an interview, which was conducted the following month and published in Amazing Heroes #196. The original sketch, which I sold in Feb 2004, has Mignola's at-the-time phone number on the back. Never seen the original pop up anywhere, so, here's a pic of a xerox I kept of it. He was in the middle, or just coming to the end, of his run of X-Men Classic covers when this was done. He was doing covers for much of the original Paul Smith issues (talk about contrasting styles!), and Colossus was always my favorite X-Man. Any guesses as to what he was charging for sketches then?

More a question of finding them. I have a xerox of the Drs Doom and Strange sketch that David Dingman has posted here, so no reason for me to put that up. And I have a xerox of a Daredevil sketch by Mignola that isn't where it's supposed to be, so I'm not sure when that one will be seen here. I'll have to dig some more...
