DescriptionCheck out this very nice PUBLISHED card art Painting which was created ENTIRELY by Joe Devito, from a DC card set which I cant find yet. The back of the art does have the DC copyright stamp of 1996 on it. This very detailed painting features Batman in a green mist as a ghostly image of Robin calls him into a castle! Painting measures 5.5 by 8.25 inches and is drawn on thick foam core measuring 7.5 by 10 inches. Just a great opportunity here to own a NICE published Carnage painting! It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
