DescriptionCannonball Run II Unused Movie Poster Illustration Original Art (Warner Brothers Studios, 1984). This proposal for the smash follow-up to the cult-classic Cannonball Run was not chosen for production. This in spite of the fact that it features Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Sammy Davis Jr., Jamie Farr, Dean Martin, and five other stars! Produced in acrylic paint and color pencil on paper, the image area measures 13" x 20" and it is affixed to foamcore board. In Excellent condition. |

It fascinates me how from growing up in the 1970s as a kid with little money, I had to work on my paper route to have funds to buy all of the comics I loved as a kid. And growing older I was able to buy more expensive comics as I saved my money while in the U.S. Army at West Point from 1985-1989 and I was able to finally buy my very first pages of comic art in 1989 and it has been an unbelievable roller coaster ride ever since that point trying to find the Amazing Spiderman #1-297 pages and Spiderman strip art from 1-3-1977 to 11-9-1980 I love so dearly and covet!! |
