PYROGRAPHY "painting with fire"
From the word "pyro" means fire & "graphos" means art in greek.
Pyrography is the art of using fire or heated metal to burn the suface of the wood to various depth to make a picture.
A great range of effects, tones and shades may be achieved in burning on natural surfaces. Subtle or bold effects may be achieved depending on many factors, including heat, pressure, type of wood or surface and tips used.
Every stroke is drawn entirely by hand, making each piece unique.
