been reading comics for a very long time. started on this journey with flash #274. can't say there was anything particularly special about the issue, but it did have an ad for the next issue which turned out to be 'the death of iris west allen' storyline and from then on, i was hooked. been mostly a DC fan since. took the plunge in purchasing OA around 2005 with some darwyn cooke pieces that i saw at SDCC. these included some from 'the new frontier'. some favorite characters of mine include the flash, green lantern, wonder woman, supergirl and zatanna. (on the few occasions that i've made commission requests, i've chosen zatanna as my subject :P) by day, i'm an illustrator with some children's picture book credits as well as work in the animation industry as a storyboard artist.
