I started collecting in high school, 1972-73, when I sent Russ Cochran $50 cash in an envelope for a Frank Frazetta sketch from Graphic Gallery #1. Russ promptly sent out the sketch and I was hooked for life! I collect everything and anything that strikes my fancy as a great image, including comic book art, comic strip art, illustration and advertising art, vintage paperback and digest covers and more. My favorites are Frank Frazetta, Frank King, Chester Gould, Roy Krenkel, Hannes Bok, George Gross, Robert Maguire, Reginald Heade, Robert Crumb, Vaughn Bode, Hal Foster, Alex raymond, Noel Sickles, Winsor McCay, Moebius, Justin Green, Harvey Kurtzman, Barry Windsor Smith, Al Capp, George McManus and many others. I don't collect famous names, I just collect art I like! For many years I was a sales rep for a major book company and for the past 20 years I've been living my dream of making a full-time living selling antiquarian books, magazines, ephemera, antiques, vintage posters, advertising items and art. Even though most of my art shown here is not for sale, I'm always interested in talking trade, if you like something I have(but it would have to be a great trade)!
