Dale Manesis, the legendary Milwaukee dealer, was the one who bought the original trove of BLB covers that came out of Racine, WI in the early 1970's. Most of the original buyers kept them for decades and they are rarely seen. Fantastic!
I think the depressed prices only reflect the amount of material that was put into the market at one time by a lifelong Cornwell collector. I, for one, am glad to have gotten a couple of painting, because it will not happen again!
