I've been reading and collecting comics nearly all my life (the first few years it was a little hard getting to the newsstand what with the crib and playpen keeping me caged). I even spent some time buying and selling comics in the early 90's like everyone else. I've met many creators and artist, but until recently never ventured very far into the art side except for some prints. The first piece of original comic art that I owned is a two page splash from Samurai: Heaven and Earth II #1. I loved the story and decided I wanted the art because it is such a powerful piece and also because of the amazing detail that Luke Ross put into the main character's outfit. It was my first purchase. A few months later, and I was bitten by the bug. My favorite artists are Darryl Banks, Ivan Reis, Dale Eaglesham, Rodney Ramos, Terry Austin, Luke Ross, Romeo Tangal, Steve Epting, and Ron Lim. Can you tell I like Green Lantern? Other titles and characters I am interested in are Captain America, The Punisher, and Lone Wolf and Cub. I am VERY interested in any original artwork from Lone Wolf and Cub.
