I've been focusing on obtaining artwork that features monsters, scary things, and the like. The monsters can be classic characters or the more monstrous superhero types. I'm especially interested in a Wasp-monster character from Marvel's 1972 run of Marvel Feature. It was one of the very first series that I can remember actively collecting. When I decided to collect comic art pages and commission pieces, I decided I'd focus on monsters, and the Wasp-monster seemed like a perfect choice.
I'm also attempting to get at least one piece of published or commission art from each of my favorite artists or series. I also have a love of the old 80 pg Giants from DC, and have been commissioning new ones when I can afford to do so. I'm also happy to pick up the occasional pin-up piece, if the price is right and I like the subject/pose.
I am actively collecting comic strips - I'd like to get at least one example of each of my favorite artists. I'm limited by my budget, but I do what I can. Check out the comic strip galleries and a few of the artist galleries!
