DescriptionOne of my most positive and happy commission experiences ever. Gary Martin is one of the most reliable, professional and trustworthy people I have ever dealt with. Please email me or better email Gary (he's on CAF) you will not be disappointed!Gary inked a blue line of Dave Finch's gorgeous Magneto Trophy Wall. The blacks are lush and make the piece come to life. Image of Finch's original pencils added. You can also see the write up I gave the pencils at this link. http://cafurl.com?i=16662 Social/Sharing |

I've checked out Gary's CAF gallery numerous times. He is truly an amazing talent, as evidenced by your gorgeous piece here.

Good job. I love your commission even if I find the theme disturbing.

This theme has allowed me to work with many artists who are difficult to get commissions from. It allows me to get them on a signature character and include a significant portion of their character rosters in a way that costs me far far less than they would if I needed 7-10 full figures in a single piece battling it out. Also, having only 1 main figure in a piece and a detailed background gets a lot of artists to work with me that simply don't have time to draw a multi-figure battle royale. So the "trophy wall" idea has been a god send in terms of working with great artists, getting memorable pieces and making them all fit into a budget of sorts. lol

Very cool. Would love to see Finch's pencils....Added a scan of the original pencils, and a link to where they are in my CAF. I have been talking to a couple of other wonderful artists as well about inking a blue line of this piece so I don't think this is the last version we will see. ;-)
