This piece would've made a perfect cover. Great score man!

Really like Ethan's work, he has very nice chops. The lightning effect along with the shadows really works well with The Batman.

Love how he did the weather. Many artists seem afraid of messing up their beautiful drawing by adding intense weather. When done right, like this, it only adds to a great figure drawing.

Nice. I love the blurriness of teh background and the way the figure of Batman contrasts with it.

Ari, you said it right on the head - NO one does Batman better than Ethan! I MUST get a commission from him one of these days...

I was tracking this on ebay. Now I see where it went. Love the muted backgrounds, really makes the figure stand out. And what a fine figure it is! Great headshot too, a tip of the hat to the classic Neal Adams Batman!

I have to agree that Ethan’s Batman is one of the best...so much so that I own two fantastic pieces by Ethan that are featured in my gallery.

This may very well be the centerpiece of your collection. Cheers! N.

Ethan's the only artist drawing Batman's cape like something physically substantial and leathery. Almost like an actual Bats wing. Looks great.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: there is something about how Ethan draws Bats' cape. Simply unreal.
