By Neptune's Beard, that's superb! Byrne on Namor is obviously a slam-dunk, but this piece is even better than I expected. Wow, Ari, your Byrne collection is moving toward a triumphant finale.

Finally! Namor had been conspicuous by his absence among Byrne's character pose commissions. Everything about this superb: the trident, the hair, the water crashing beneathe him.

This is Namor, in all his regal splendor. Byrne just hit this out of the park. There isn't a single line on this page wasted. I love the trident and Namor's pose. He just evokes "Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner" and in an odd way reminds me of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner #1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sub-Mariner1968n1.jpg
