I love the cinematic work of genius Rich Corben...his Warren work was just so special and unlike other artist's work.... Here's a rare 1970s example from Creepy 57 from his story, Terror Tomb. James Pascoe does all my stat/pasteup work on mylar overlays, by the way, he's lightening fast, has super prices and is a real gentleman!!

Love this period with the high contrast core shading and plenty of soft edges. Somehow Corben's work never looks piecy or flat despite how hard he can push the halftones and local contrast.
