I've admired Bolland's superb work for a long time. I thought this fine ink drawing was a great way to get his now iconic version of the Joker without spending the kid's college fund. Much more than a sketch-- a superb and detailed rendering.

Yeah... for whatever reason, this piece has more detail, texture and depth compared to other drawings executed in the same time period.
