Vader walks in front and has no need to look sideways or backwards to make sure his lackeys are there so they can hear what he's saying, he knows they're there and following.

Lord Vader leads, the regular men follow. 

In fact, he is so confident in his place above ordinary men that he has no shame in referencing what the emperor wants and that Vader himself serves an even higher lord; for it's no different than the lack of shame a regular man would feel if he mentioned to an ant that there is a higher Godly power. Sure, I'm not the highest, but I'm so much greater than you that it doesn't shame me to say so. 

Vader can be the self-esteem model for all of us.

Wow, this is an amazing page. Tom Palmer is one of my favorite inkers. His work with John Buscema on Avengers is wonderful. But here strikes another masterful duo. Frenz and Palmer. Very beautiful page.
