Got this as a birthday gift from a close friend who's a super talented illustrator, comic artist and art director in animation. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love a good Wolverine and this one is a stunner. Thanks Chris!!

They fed him well! Very cool mix of wash tones give definition to the massive frame and take this a step further into realism.

Haha he's a beefy boy! Yeah, I really love the balance between cartoon shape language and realism in the toning. It's not traditional comic stuff but it's so great! It's also very hard to capture wash tones and watercolor in a scan. It really pops in person.
