DescriptionNucleus Gallery Portland recently held their "Salut II" coaster show. The pieces where posted online November 19th. As I was viewing the pieces I immediately added 2 by Alina Chau to my cart. Jasmine and Matcha which were a Chinese lady and Japanese lady drinking a beverage from their country. I continued looking and didn't find any others that I wanted that were still available. I began checking out and I must have taken too long to decide so I missed out on Matcha, I went ahead and finished checking out and purchased Jasmine.I've always been a big fan of Alina's work. It is always just so fun and beautiful to look at and this piece is no exception. Of the 2 pieces I am actually glad that I ended up with this one even though the other was a Japanese lady in a kimono. The colors on the piece really pop and I love the beautiful side profile. It's the small details like the flowers and the pattern on the Cheongsam that really make the piece. Another stunning piece by Alina. Size 4 x 4. Social/Sharing |
