Sometimes it's the little things that make me smile ... like the way Spidey's foot crosses border in the last panel, punctuating the page.

I noticed the same thing Duane did - immediately. And I don't think of Ditko doing that often. Very cool!

Such a great page. The 4th & 5th panels are all Spidey goodness!

I really believe Ditko revolutionized how superheroes were drawn, especially Spider- man. Look at panels 3, 4 and 5 and the momentum in the pose. DD stole a lot as did other heroes. Great action page and Spidey is in so many panels.
Ditko was breathtaking with all the nuisances of Spidey's costume, and the arm pit webbing is priceless. His Doctor Strange took cape design to another level.

Many thanks, Ilia, for your very perceptive comments. And it's nice to see that this page has been noticed again after so many years.

CAF's one drawback is the need to recognize the great art posted posted from years ago.

Many thanks once again, Ilia. It's all good with individuals such as yourself who will ensure that artwork doesn't fade into CAF obscurity.
