I don't think Perez has ever phoned in a single panel, as evidenced by those amazing backgrounds in the second a d third panels. Who else would go to such great lengths. Awesome page from a fun event, and that final panel is a show stopper!

A "perfect" Perez JLA page! From the inspired POV choice of panel one through to the Perez "shaded heads montage" of that glorious last panel, this page has all the detail, life, backgrounds, and characters that define Gentleman George's work on any project he works on (much less a labor of love like this series was). Superb treasure of a page, Marcus - sincere congrats!

I think the first major disappointment I had as a comic reader was the implosion of the original JLA-Avengers meeting, Thanks for nothing, Jim Shooter...

I'm so glad that George Perez got to realize his and our dream of this project happening, and that it turned out as awesomely as one would hope, as this page shows.
