Description

Although the origin of Green Lantern Hal Jordan had been retold many times over the last 50 years, this cover is, as far as I am aware, the only one showing Abin Sur passing his ring onto Hal.

For those who are not acquainted with Green Lantern chronology, Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn I is a mini-series immediately preceding Green Lantern series 3. It retold the story of how Hal became a Green Lantern.
