Description

This Bernie Wrightson recreation is another addition to my continuing series of studies of the comic book art masters that have had a major influence on my early art development.

The original House of Mystery cover was done by Bernie in 1974. I am amazed at the level of detail he packed into every figure.

My recreation was done on 11x17 bristol, with pencil, brush, and india ink, The title is hand lettered with Pitt pens.

This piece is an example of a commission I created for a client.

Absolutely love the draping on this piece and you did a fantastic job of re-creating the logo work.
