I have to admit that I had wandered into this comic, just drawn in by the artwork by Chris Sprouse and Kevin Nowlan.

I had NO idea that Warren Ellis had been given the green light to kill off characters in what I had assumed to be just another crossover book. Even if I had, the graphic nature of Fahrenheit's death would have still been shocking...
