An old issue of CFA-APA has an account of the history of these preliminary drawings written by a fellow collector. It's a terrific read and well worth finding.

Remember this page well from my youth. That third panel is the stuff of nightmares. Genius work from Wrightson. Congratulations.

Wow. I think this was some of Wrightson's best work. Great story! Always wondered where all these pages are. Congrats!
