Description

A fantastic Superman/Aliens page by the improbable team of Jon Bogdanove and Kevin Nowlan. Kevin Nowlan sold a batch of those on ebay years ago and I was outbidded on this one which specially grabbed my attention. It poppped on caf soon after and I let the owner know that I would be interested in purchasing it should he decide to let it go.So thanks Nick for remembering me :) Now when I say improbable it 's because the bombastic Bogdanove art never seemed it would profit from the inks of Nowlan in theory(read solicitation of the project).And when the comics were released, all my fears were destroyed by the amazing mesh of 2 great styles. Nowlan, as always, brought his incredible art to elevate the great art of Bogdanove.Now this splashy fight page has an over the top Kirby flavor, specially the 3rd panel which I love so much( the energy radiating from the fist!), with the modern magic of the penciler and inker.Truly a gem!
