Description

My first Gary Frank Hulk page from Peter David's run in the 90s was from this same storyline, when Hulk was rampaging all over Asgard. And I knew I needed more art from this era immediately, considering his style has changed pretty drastically. Love that middle panel, with what I see as a fun nod to Future Imperfect, though I'm sure that layout's origin very possibly came pre-90s.

Yeah, the style change really took me by surprise. But I've gotten used to it now. Still, I love going back to his run on Hulk. Keown was a tough act to follow, but I loved his art on those issues, and I thought Cam Smith was the perfect inker for him at the time. Nice page. Love that middle panel.

I love how that middle panel has the scritchy border. Seems very appropriate for the Hulk's predicament at that moment. And an ironic & humorous turn of events given what Hector has just said. Great Gary Frank add!

It's a clean, sharp, and polished style by Frank that's instantly recognizable. You can tell he's great at facial expressions and body language with control over Hulk and the supporting cast.

Ha ha, great transition from panel 2 to 3 :) Also dig the depth and sense of movement in that 3rd panel..."SKARAK!" is right! Congrats!
