DescriptionYes, I know Arno Drake WROTE The Doom Patrol, but he did little sketches of his cover ideas for Bruno Premiani to follow, as he did for this cover for MY GREATEST ADVENTURE #81. What this one lacks in draftsmanship, it more than makes up for in historic importance. This is freaking great. I have an ink sketch of Deadman I got from Arnold in San Diego. He used an everyday ink pen and kind of dug it into the pen and it's crude as hell but he's the creator (or maybe co-creator. I can't remember when Carmine got involved....but I imagine Arnold had the outfit pretty much designed beforehand.)
