Keif, I have to stay out of your gallery or I'll go insane.
All accurate, but though the books were not as successful as hoped, I think Kirby-helmed-not-Kirby-drawn books would not live in our memories as they have.
I think SGM is more gestural and spontaneous in his rendering, even at the construction level. Dan nails more down before applying textures, IMO.
Thanks to Joshua Chang for lightning fast shipping all the way from Singapore!
That first panel, even though it's just a transition, blows me away. Toth's romance stuff is full of little tricks like this. The master!
One of his finest works. Thanks for posting.
Maybe the ultimate Toth panel-to-panel page.
One of the many Len & Bernie ST pages I have memorized. Unbeatable.
It doesn't get more Woddy than this! I love his design for Iron Maiden's armored goons so much that I made one a recurring character when I got a chance to write the IDW T.H.U.N.D.E.R. reboot.
I prefer the little touch of naivete in the Charlton run, but this is maybe an ideal middle ground between that and Staton's more angular style to come.

This comic book changed my life. This cover is a holy relic.
Cool stuff! I own the prelim for that bottom image of Miho, if you care to drop by my gallery.

Inspiring deep envy with this one. One of my favorite one-shots ever.
I saw this beauty hanging in a comic shop for the incalculable sum of $400 when I was a kid. It blew my mind then and set me on the path from comic book collector to comic book art collector (with an ongoing trip as comic book artist between). Like holy writ.
Everything special about Miller's DD distilled into one spread. A treasure.
There was a book of new Sinner material called simply ALACK published in France in 2010 that had twenty or so new drawings in it.
Pure gold! I've never seen Starlin OMAC stuff anywhere but here. So jealous.
Haha. So true. I flash back to Dave T arguing with my 15-year-old self about Keith Giffen's "new" style on Dr. Fate (I was a Defenders-era loyalist). Good times.
Simply amazing. How in the world did you land all of these?
I think it was only available to the German market for some reason.
Losing out on this one is one of my deepest art regrets. Incredible in every way.
Absolutely breathtaking. A Toth Shadow run would have been a high water mark for comics.
Never seen this one before. Thanks for showing it to the world, Andrew!
