Description

When I started collecting original art, I set out to get pages from comics that I used to read. I first started with Uncanny X-Men during the John Romita Jr. years and was hooked immediately. I went to my local comic shop and immediatly started picking up some back issues and reading them. I remember sitting in the kitchen in my house in San Diego with a big stack of comic books in front of me and reading one after another. Collecting comic art I knew I had to get a Dave Cockrum page. I kept looking and looking and I ran across this page from one of my favorite issues, 146, where the team ends up in Arcade's Murderworld. Featuring Banshee, Havok, and Arcade's assistant Miss Locke, we get to see some of the great pencil work by Cockrum and the fantastic inking by Rubenstein. I want to say a quick thanks here to Mike Burkey who made this purchase one of the easiest I've ever had.

The inks here are outstanding !! I remembered the art was good, I didn't remember it was THIS good !! Congrats on adding such a beautiful page to your collection !
