Great example of Smiths art- done either as a desing job for a silent film or a local version of the international play tha was popular at the time- need to get a better scan thoug hthe darkness of her clothes makes it hard to see the detail- one of the more grim fantasy styled illos Smith did in this series

I'm sure it's amazing in person. Not enough people know about this spectacular artist. It's a shame.
