I agree, this is certainly not in the same category as a Frankenstein's plate. But I still love that image. It took me just a few hours to make up my mind. I think it is a very decent substitute until a better example is available.

The monster and the professor, together in the lab. Used as a pin-up/plate in a fanzine (I need to post the fanzine references, but no time for that today, be patient my collector friends ;-) this image is most certainly one of the earliest Frankenstein published example. You can see that Wrightson was probably experimenting, getting a feel for the character.

Thanks to my brother in collecting (we so much like the same things except for one of my weakness ;-) for thinking of me. Frankenstein has found a new home !
