Description

Drawn by scottish artist and 2000AD legend Colin Macneil and paintd by Tim Perkins this piece features polular rebel Chopper, a skysurfer who clashed frequently with the authoritarian Judge Dredd. This page is from Song of the Surfer Pt1 in 2000AD #654, page seven of seven where Chopper buries old aborigine Smokie who has just died in his sleep... The page was produced by printing Colin's artwork onto Kentmere watercolour paper and Tim painting the colours in acrylics with the lettering on an asetate overlay. This was bought in-person from Tim at a market exhibition he was attending and after a most in-depth conversation about his work and the Industry in general....!
