Absolutely fantastic! Wrightson, one of my favorites, hits it out of the park with this stunning classic! Love to see examples of the Studio guys, those guy are true artists, kudos!

This was indeed a wonderful story with stellar art, and I chased one of these panels not too long ago, but lost... So my quest remains: "A dream within a dream" - EAP

A true masterpiece! It can easily stand on its own.

Wonderful. I do wonder what lunatic cut the art up?

Ha...that lunatic was the mad artist himself...Berni. Sold each panel for around $150 apiece in 1978.

Well, I suppose at those prices, at the time, he made the right decision financially, if not artistically. Its like seeing all those Prince Valiant fragments. Any chance of a pic of the full printed page as an additional image?

I not sure these were painted four to a page and cut up. I think they were just printed that way.

According to longtime collector Ray Cuthbert on a Wrightson FB post, "Berni cut the pages into panels, he told Bo Hampton, and sold each panel for $150 around 1978"

I've heard that before as well, but I think the originals have more border than appears in the print version. I'd have to take it out of the frame to verify that.

Each story, each page he did for Warren have such a distinct vibe and look, but each, in and of itself, is a classic of the horror genre.
